ABOUT US

We are a team of Caraqueños entrepreneurs (Carola Reina, Viggy Cardozo, Jonathan Lopez and Ricardo Ochoa). We lived most of our life in Caracas, Venezuela. Caracas is a city that has a majestic mountain at the North. This mountain, “El Ávila”, is our main inspiration in this project. “El Ávila” is a source of spectacular views, fresh and clean air, delicious and nutritious food, fun and healthy workout plaza, and in general, a source of good, rich and fun life.

Through AVILA Organic, we provide a bit of that magical combination to us, our friends and customers. We deliver health in a fun way. With organic food, you can have better tasting, more nutritious and healthier foods than with their processed or non-organic counterparts. For example: try a regular strawberry and an organic strawberry. You will notice that the organic one tastes much more and better than the non-organic one. The second benefit you will directly enjoy is a more nutritious food for your body, mind and soul. Yes, we said soul. When you buy and consume organic, you contribute with products, people and processes that cause less harm or are harmless to our common home, Planet Earth. As everything in life, this is not a perfect path. There are still lots of improvement opportunities, but we can assure this is the right path. A sustainable and healthier path for producers, including Earth, and consumers, including people like you and us.

We believe that eating healthy, to be a sustainable habit, must be fun like “El Ávila”. Food must have a great taste. The recipes must be outstanding, yet simple. Also, the people behind the production, supply and preparation of the food must be engaging, fun and inspiring. That is why we treat ourselves and you as family. That’s how we treat everyone that sells or buys from us. 

As we are engaged in this, we publish all the information we know and find about our products and methods. Also, we are always looking for better products and methods to deliver organic foods and recipes to you.
